Dr. Herbert Shelton | Natural Hygiene | Natural Health | Fasting

      I have been listening to Dr, Herbert Shelton audio tapes from the 1950's. They are available on YouTube and I have also saved them to my Odysee account for archival purposes, that way they can be enjoyed for years to come. For those who don't know Herbert Shelton was one of natural health pioneers of twentieth century. He was a modern man who spoke to the modern age. 

He was a speaker on health. He also owned and operated many fasting healing clinics in which many people found their health. He is a man who doesn't beat around the bush, telling it exactly how it is. If you listen to his invaluable audio recording you will see just that. We are blessed to have this information at our finger tips where we can take a listen. We are even more blessed when we implement what he is teaching us. 

In this day and age as well as in his own, we deserve and desperately need this information. It is a shame that this knowledge of Natural Hygiene is not the standard in the medical care industry. It was Dr. Shelton's dream that everyone could find healing following the natural mode of living outlined in his talks. Herbert Shelton is also a published author of books like The Science and Fine are of Fasting, Natural Hygiene; Man's Pristine Way of Life, Fasting Can Save Your Life, and many more excellent books that we would be blessed to own and read. 

A blog about Natural Health is incomplete without mentioning and recommending Dr. Herbert Shelton. if you are as interested in learning about and implementing natural health techniques in your life style as I am, than you will also love Shelton's work. The quote above is one of my favorite things he has said. He said "the biggest room is the room for improvement." That is a lot like what I have always said, my mantra "today I will be better than I was yesterday.!" We should always strive to be better, we can always eat better, exercise more often, or have a better attitude. Don't you think?

I think that is what makes life interesting and how we are able to grow as human beings. Life is about learning and implementing. Finding a better way to do things. When we stop doing that we stop growing and becoming a better version of ourselves. Sure it would be great if we were perfect without all of the work. That is just not how it goes with us. So keep moving forward and keep improving on yourself. Don't beat yourself up when you don't just keep practicing a better way and you will get there. 

To get you started on learning from Shelton's work I have imbedded one below. I have also included a link to more of his wonderful work. These audios are from the 1950's, so the quality is not what you would get from the same audio produced today. 

With patients or a quiet room you will have no problem listening. I often listen to the same audio multiple times. These audios are usual more than an hour long so I like to bring it up on my cell phone and use my ear buds so I can listen while I am doing something else.

Take notes, listen often and start implementing everything that you learn.

Healing Hemorrhoids, Cholesterol issues, Calcium utilization issues | Dr. Robert Morse

   Excellent video regarding some of the things that can go wrong when we have parathyroid weaknesses, adrenal weaknesses, which leads to the connective tissue issues like hemorrhoid, saggy skin, weak nails, prolapses, etc, And much more! 

Take your notes and do what you can. Eating a high water content fruit based diet with greens is A MUST! We have to get the body clean and the GI going by eating a clean diet such as that. Do a little building with proper foods before going into fasting, especially if you are experiencing symptoms of adrenal gland weakness. Must get the body ALKALINIZED! 

Avoid acid forming foods like the COVID! Acid forming foods are high protein foods such as meat, dairy, beans, legumes, nuts and grains. Focus on your high water content fruits and greens! Salad are key here and will help cleanse the Gastrointestinal Tract (GI) avoid your processes dressings and go for fresh avocado or a home made vinegar and oil free dressings. Go all fruit for deeper detoxification! It is good to alternate from detox fruit days and fruit and salad days. Stay off your processed foods, THINK whole raw food. 

Avoid foods that I like to call DEHYDRATING FOODS. These are foods that must be reconstituted by your body in order to properly eliminate them. These foods steal needed hydration away from your cells where it is needed most. Most people are dehydrated on the cellular level due to #1 eating dehydrating foods, #2 acidosis in the body. 

Dr. Morse herbal protocols to use for these issues are...

Lower circulation
Kidney formulas
Stomach and Bowels
or just bowel herbs
Adrenal gland herbs
Endocrine herbs
Thyroid and parathyroid
Liver cleanse
Anti fungal

I recommend that you eat the proper raw plant foods in order to achieve these goals but if you can afford to buy or make formulas like these you should! Remember diet is key and food is true medicine that allows the body to heal itself. Definitely watch this video and others. Do your own research, take notes and help your self. Dr. Morse is here to help but you got to do the work. 

And be patient with your healing and the journey you are on. But don't give up, keep moving forward, Don't let anything get in your way!

If you want to continue your education in naturally healing yourself I highly recommend these two book. In the first book Dr. Morse teaches you everything you need to know to help yourself. In the second one you will learn more about herbs, where to find them in nature, how to grow them and how to make your own herbal remedies. Both books will serve this purpose to some extent. LIVE AND LEARN! IMPLAMENT AND FEEL THE DIFFERENCE! TAKE NOTES AND FIND OUT WHAT WORKS FOR YOU. REMEMBER HEALING TAKES TIME. IT TOOK YOUR WHOLE LIFE TO CREATE ILLNESS AND IT MAY TAKE YOU THE REST OF YOUR LIFE TO OER COME THEM. IT IS NEVER TO LATE TO START.

Raw Vegan Fruitarain | Understanding Cravings

   If you are struggling to understand your cravings this is a great video to watch. During my twelve months so far, as a fruitarian I have to say that I hadn't realized just how addicted I was to foods. I never considered myself a food addict, but I quickly learned just how much I am. The good news is the more you resist temptations the easier it gets I promise. 

It is important to listen to our bodies, but not all cravings are telling you what you NEED to be eating, but is actually just an addiction. Learn how to tell the two apart for best results. Obviously your body is not telling you to eat pizza or anything else not good for you. If you are craving fat for example it isn't your body telling you to eat high fat dairy products or pizza, but avocados or possibly even some seeds or nuts. Or if you always crave sweets it isn't your body telling you to eat candy and sweet baked goods, but fresh, raw, and ripe sweet fruits. 

 Also many cravings that we are experiencing aren't coming from a true need, but the parasites that are within us fighting to stay alive! This is where getting your body cleaned out by staying away from bad foods, and sticking to the raw fruits will help. As you cleanse the system, depriving the parasites of their food, the parasites start to freak out and fight for their lives. This parasite die off will actually cause you cravings, and make you want to eat sugar, bread, yeast, fats, etc... Don't give in! Get the body clean, and the cravings also will disappear as the parasites also disappear from your gut. 

Here are some craving rules...

  • If you crave sweets, eat lots of fruit. Fill up on fruit at every meal.
  • If you crave salt eat more raw veggies such as celery, carrots, green leafy vegetables. Adding vegetable juice or a big salad at the end of the day will help you with those cravings for salt. You can even top it with some celery chopped up real fine. 
  • If you crave sweets after you eat a savory meal, such as a salad, then you didn't eat enough fruits throughout the day. (note it is best to eat your sweet fruits all day, and then end your day with a savory meal such as a salad)
  • Loren Lockman suggests you do fruits, berries and melons all day. And for your evening meal do a big salad of spinach, avocado, tomatoes, and possible cucumber. If you need to add salt I would do celery, or a pinch of pink salt if you really need it.

This is an excellent video by Robert Morse and in my opinion one of the best. He includes just about everything here and it is a great video to watch over and over. Dr. Morse is right on with this one and I would like to see everyone taking it to heart. Please watch, and then share!
