Fruits, Berries and Melons humans natural food! 

      What our medical community and governments see as "healthy" is actually nothing but a lack of medical diagnoses. A few trips to the doctor, along with some testing will fix that really good! DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT SAYING DON'T GO TO THE DOCTOR IN THE CASE OF AN EMERGENCY OR LEGITIMATE MEDICAL NEED. I am saying that you are your best advocate for your health and you know when something isn't right with your body especially if you learn what to look for and how to properly cure it. 


"Energy or the destruction of energy results from what we eat, drink, breathe, put on our skin, and from what we think and feel. These are the six ways we either make ourselves healthy, and vital, or sick and weak."

   Diseases don't just happen! Disease or what we think of a disease as being is simply our body trying to tell us something. And "disease" often times takes a lifetime or many years to develop. Obviously, the sooner you can recognize problems the sooner and easier you can cure it. It's very simple. If you are suffering from any of the thousands of health conditions that plague our societies than this is for you.

      "What you eat has a direct effect upon your health."  

Dr. Morse and many others (especially his students on YouTube) teach that a raw vegan diet that is low in protein is the way to go. You also need to avoid health food junk food like tofu, all-natural packaged foods, protein shakes, etc.. He teaches that human beings are frugivores by nature and that anything outside of that is toxic to us. This means that raw fruits, berries, and melons are our primary food. Raw veggies are also a food source for us but only to be eaten when you are in between detox fasting. Spinach, kale and green leafy veggies alike are your best choices.

Try this for a week and feel the difference! Try consuming raw fruits all day and for dinner have a nice raw spinach and veggie salad with lemon juice for dressing. Stay away from anything packaged. Keep it raw and simple! Cooking renders foods carcinogenic and also promotes acidosis in our systems.

Acidosis has to do with the acid build up in our bodies and the cause of all diseases. I have learned that all cancer is are damaged cells and cells can regenerate if given the proper environment. "

There is no magic or mystery to health or disease. Disease is a natural process! When we understand how the body works, and what causes the tissues in the body to fail, we will then understand what causes disease symptoms and how to reverse it.

Dr. Morse teaches that detoxification and the regeneration of cells is the only way to true health and healing! That is what his book is all about I highly recommend that you get a hold of one. I have provided a couple links on this post for you to do just that. Also, see the YouTube links so you can learn from Dr. Morse yourself.

Here are some bullet points to help you understand the basics of what Dr. Morse is teaching...

  • Raw fruits, veggies, herbs are primary food/medicine for humans. 
  • Humans are frugivores!
  • We shouldn't destroy our food before we eat it. GO RAW! 
  • Meat and dairy are highly acid forming foods not suitable for a frugivore.
  • The cause of all illness and "disease" is acidosis.
  • Treat the cause not the symptoms.
  • Fruit makes the body alkaline, supplies the body with needed nutrients and hydration.
  • Fruits, berries, and melons detox the body and regenerate cells.
  • There is no "disease" that can't be cured!
  • There is a difference between a healthy diet and a healing one!

Healing Hemorrhoids, Cholesterol issues, Calcium utilization issues | Dr. Robert Morse

   Excellent video regarding some of the things that can go wrong when we have parathyroid weaknesses, adrenal weaknesses, which leads to the connective tissue issues like hemorrhoid, saggy skin, weak nails, prolapses, etc, And much more! 

Take your notes and do what you can. Eating a high water content fruit based diet with greens is A MUST! We have to get the body clean and the GI going by eating a clean diet such as that. Do a little building with proper foods before going into fasting, especially if you are experiencing symptoms of adrenal gland weakness. Must get the body ALKALINIZED! 

Avoid acid forming foods like the COVID! Acid forming foods are high protein foods such as meat, dairy, beans, legumes, nuts and grains. Focus on your high water content fruits and greens! Salad are key here and will help cleanse the Gastrointestinal Tract (GI) avoid your processes dressings and go for fresh avocado or a home made vinegar and oil free dressings. Go all fruit for deeper detoxification! It is good to alternate from detox fruit days and fruit and salad days. Stay off your processed foods, THINK whole raw food. 

Avoid foods that I like to call DEHYDRATING FOODS. These are foods that must be reconstituted by your body in order to properly eliminate them. These foods steal needed hydration away from your cells where it is needed most. Most people are dehydrated on the cellular level due to #1 eating dehydrating foods, #2 acidosis in the body.

Lower circulation
Kidney formulas
Lymphatic 
Stomach and Bowels
or just bowel herbs
Adrenal gland herbs
Endocrine herbs
Thyroid and parathyroid

I recommend that you eat the proper raw plant foods in order to achieve these goals but if you can afford to buy or make formulas like these you should! Remember diet is key and food is true medicine that allows the body to heal itself. Definitely watch this video and others. Do your own research, take notes and help your self. Dr. Morse is here to help but you got to do the work.

   My name is Joanne Utke, and I have been healing my long suffering multiple digestive issues with a raw vegan fruitarian diet. I Have also lost over 40 lbs, which is a huge plus. Allergies to Fruits, and vegetables | How to get started when you can't tolerate raw foods.

What if you have allergies to raw foods like fruits and vegetables?
Can someone who is allergic to raw foods still get on this program to heal their body? 

raw food   In this article those are the questions that I want to address. I have a lot of people tell me that a raw vegan fruitarian diet will never work for them because they have food sensitivities, or allergies to raw foods like fruits and vegetables. They figure that since their body won't tolerate such foods that it must not be good for them to consume them. They will often use the phenomenon in their own body (called "allergies") to justify why they can't eat healthy raw foods.

This is why I am writing this. I believe that everyone can benefit tremendously from a raw vegan fruitarian diet, even eliminating their illnesses/symptoms. But, not everyone can just jump right in and GO RAW, because their bodies are just too far gone into the acidosis on the cellular level. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WHEN YOU MAKE THE CHOICE TO HEAL YOUR BODY, YOU MUST START WHERE YOU ARE!

We are all coming from a different place of health or lack health rather. So, we must educate ourselves and figure out where we need to start. The goal will be at least a 75% food raw diet, and then eventually a 100% fruit diet in order to take your detox and healing to the next level. No, you will not have to stay there forever, but you will be using FRUIT AND FASTING to eliminate your illness and get healthy.

THIS IS A DETOX PROGRAM THAT WILL TAKE YOU THROUGH DIFFERENT LEVELS LIKE A GAME. WHERE YOU START DEPENDS ON HOW SICK YOU ARE, WHAT SPECIFIC PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, AND HOW MUCH YOU ARE WILLING TO TAKE BEFORE YOU REACH HEALTH.

THIS IS NOT A QUICK FIX, A TREATMENT WITH THE PROMISE OF HEALTH THAT YOU MAY NEVER GET. THIS IS A REMEDY AND IT WILL TAKE TIME, PATIENCE AND A WILLINGNESS TO DO WHAT IT TAKES!

The first thing you must know is that anytime there is "allergies" or food intolerance, there is also lymphatic stagnation, lack of proper kidney filtration, and adrenal, pancreatic gland weakness, etc.. Those four are the main issues here and a great place to start no matter what illness you are experiencing. 

In a min I will list in order a step by step plan on how to get you started. Like always you will need to read this article in it's entirely, and do the work that it takes. Also never stop learning more and improving on these steps for best results. Before I do that let me explain digestion and how all of this comes into play when thinking about raw food intolerance. 

Digestion
Digestion is the first process that your food goes through after it enters your body. The point of digestion is to BREAK DOWN FOODS into usable fuel, and building materials for the body. This is accomplished through enzyme action in the mouth, stomach and small bowels. Also pancreatic weaknesses may also to blame as a reason why you are not digesting foods properly.  

When foods are not properly broken down, by either a weak pancreas, stomach, and intestinal tract, or from bad food combinations, one will experience gas formation from fermentation and or putrefaction. The greater the gas problem the greater the weakness or bad food choices

Proteins break down into amino acids for building and repair of the cells.
Carbohydrates as in starches or complex sugars are broken down into simple sugars for fuel.
Fats are broken down into fatty acids and glycerol for building, repair, and emergency needs. 

Digestion is the first process that must take place in a healthy body, and many people fail right there! Always take your time eating, chew carefully and thoroughly. You will have less gas and will be able to use more nutrition from your foods. Also in this program you will be focusing on the foods that are easiest for you to digest. If there are any food allergies that cause you a serious allergic reaction such as hives, etc... then you will want to AVOID THOSE FOODS UNTIL YOU ARE HEALTHY ENOUGH TO CONSUME THEM.

Remember start where you are! 

Getting started! 

1) The first thing you want to do is eliminate the foods that are hardest to digest! The foods hardest to digest are our animal products. Begin by eliminating meats, fish, cheeses, milk, and eggs. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Failure to do this will not take you to the next level in your detox and healing program. You can take a few weeks to accomplish this before going to the next step.

  • Animal products are just toxic to the body, acidosis promoting, mucous forming, and high in protein which kills your kidney filtration. Without kidney filtration you can't move lymphatic acid waste out of the body and this is pretty much where all disease stems from.
  • The only thing that kills cells is acid! When our body becomes to acidic it begins to break down where it is weakest due to genetics or a life time of bad eating. Choose whole plant based options instead of animal products. Look for vegan recipes that you will enjoy. Seek the help of plant based diet enthusiasts online for ideas, and support. At this step eat whatever you are used to as long as it is vegan, and whole food base.
  • Vegan meat substitutes like, meat substitutes, dairy substitutes, and egg substitutes may come in handy while you are transitioning off of all animal products. Eventually you will be eliminating these too. These foods are processed foods. In this step I want you to focus on eliminating animal products in favor of actual whole plant based foods, eliminating the animal products is most important for right now. You may choose whole grains, whole grain bread products at this stage. Along with any fruits, berries, melons, vegetables, greens, beans, legumes, seeds and nuts.
  • A good guide line for this step is thirty days! Giving up animal products will help you to feel better, be more disciplined, especially when it comes to foods, and will get you closer to eliminating your health issues. If there are any whole foods you just can't tolerate than simply avoid them for now. Eat ONLY whole foods that you can tolerate, and or don't get a reaction from. Focus on educating yourself, eliminating animal products, and learning how to cook whole plant based meals.
  • Eat when you are hungry and don't eat when you don't eat when you're not. If your stomach is hurting because of something you ate then go on a short fast until you feel better, a few hours should do the trick. Drink tea, juice or water if you can. Sometimes it is best to just not eat at all giving your digestive system a nice rest. Break a fast with something really easy to digest like fruits, or cooked vegetables, preferably fruits. 


2) Now that you have eliminated animal products, you will want to think about how you can dig deeper into your detoxification, and healing program. In this step in addition to avoiding animal products you are going to want to eliminate all processed foods, and eat more fruits, and vegetables instead.
  • If you can't eat raw vegetables then eat steamed vegetables, at least for now. You can eat a plate of steamed veggies instead of your usual animal products, or vegan junk processed foods. Avoid sauces, and complicated, multi ingredient foods, and processed foods. These will only cause you more intolerance, and problems digesting. The idea here is to continue to avoid problematic foods that cause acidosis, mucous, and irritate your digestive, metabolic and eliminative systems.
  • Make a list of all the raw fruits you can eat, and eat as much as you want daily. Do the same for cooked, and or raw veggies. Eat as much as you want from your lists daily. Keep plenty on hand so that when you are hungry you have something to eat. Continue on this step unto you are are comfortable enough to move on.
  • Before moving on to the next stage you should have eliminated animal products, and processed foods including vegan processed foods from your diet. You are now simply eating a diet that consists of fruits, vegetables, (cooked or not) greens, beans, legumes, seeds and whole grains. If you are having a lot of digestive issues, or food intolerance you may, or may not be able to eat beans, seeds, grains, and raw nuts.
That will have to be for step three...



3) You have now eliminated animal products, processed foods, and anything that causes you problems. In this step avoid eating beans, nuts, seeds, and grains. Anything that causes you intolerance, allergies, or stomach upset. Make a list of THE WHOLE PLANT BASED FOODS YOU CAN EAT, AND ONLY EAT THAT! So, at this point you should be eating ONLY fruits, vegetables, and greens. Raw or not!

  • Do this for awhile until you can begin to incorporate other fruits, vegetables, and greens into your diet. The point here is getting disciplined by avoiding certain foods that you have come to love, also giving the systems a break so that your energy is spent healing your body. Eventually you will be able to eat a variety of raw fruits, berries, melons, vegetables, and greens. For right now you can stay on your cooked veggies if that is the best way for you to tolerate them. You are not trying to go totally raw at this point. Just eating any fruits, berries, melons, vegetables and greens, that you can tolerate. Blending your foods like eating smoothies and green drinks, will help give your digestion, and other systems more of a break. The energy that is saved will go to healing your body!
  • After awhile of following these steps you should only be eating from the categories of fruits, berries, melons, vegetables and greens. I can't say this enough! This is where the really good stuff begins to happen! Remember, how long you stay on each step depends on you, your level of illness, and discipline. Eventually you will want to graduate from any cooked foods to your raw fruits primarily, greens and some vegetables. Eat as much as you need daily. Don't worry about eating protein because these foods contain amino acids which your body builds proteins from that are specific for your body.
  • Vegetables are hard to digest that is why, you started with your cooked veggies. I say focus on your fruits, berries and melons. These are easily digested foods that will allow your body to heal in all areas especially the digestive system. These are high electrical foods that feed your cells! Supply you with the right kind of simple sugars your body desperately needs for fuel. When we do not consume a diet primarily of fruits, our cells begin to succumb to acidosis. Fruits are highly alkaline, and the best food for humans!
  • Also at this point you want to begin eliminating your salt, and fats (oils) intake if you have not already. Avoid salting, and using oil on your greens and veggies. You may use celery to satisfy any craving for salt that you may have. Celery is also excellent for healing digestive processes. Lemon is also a great way to flavor your salads in place of dressing. You can also make a raw dressing using lemon, celery, and herbs. 


4) After you have changed your diet considerably and brought it down to fruits, vegetables and greens ONLY, you will want to incorporate your herbs too. Also your blender will come in handy here too. Choose herbs that you can get easily at the store or grow yourself. Herbs like parsley, basil, oregano, and mint are excellent in green smoothies and especially salads. Stay here for awhile and enjoy it. Herbs are essential in getting the body systems to work properly again. Parsley is good for the adrenal glands, oregano, basil and mint are great for the stomach and digestive processes.

  • Later you may want to incorporate some herbal formulas to further move lymphatic fluids, promote better kidney filtration, eliminate parasites, strengthen vital systems, like glands, pancreas, thyroid and digestive processes. I get my herbs at Mountain Rose Herbs online, and I also use Dr. Morse's herbal formulas as well. Like I said at the beginning of step four. I suggest you start with what you can obtain easily from the grocery produce department, and work up from there. It is also cheaper, you may want to purchase Dr. Morse's products when you have built up your discipline and detoxed considerably already. That way you get more bang for your buck! 
  • If you stay here for awhile I know you will begin to see results, and feel so much better. Feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions. At this point you should only be eating raw fruits, berries, melons, cooked or raw vegetables, greens and the herbs that I mentioned. Absolutely nothing else should pass through your lips. If you slip up just re focus and keep moving forward with the plan. Remember you are not going to eliminate a lifetime of bad eating in a few months. Be patient with your self, and your process. Make sure to tell your doctor what you are doing so they can monitor your results. But, don't let them talk you out of doing what needs to be done. Typical doctors do not know how to eliminate disease, illness or what ever you want to label it as, but they are good for ordering your blood work. Learn how to read it yourself! 


5) And here we are in step five. If you have made it this far, great job! I hope you are getting some relief from your food sensitivity, and or allergies from fruits, and vegetables. You should be beginning to move lymph, alkalize the body, promote kidney filtration for better waste elimination. Once you get the acids out of the body, and out of the way, your glands, organs, and body as a whole will begin to heal itself. Now you can begin to add the raw fruits, berries, melons, vegetables and greens that used to give you the allergy/intolerance problems. TAKE IT SLOW, AND LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! If you are still experiencing issues this is a good time to get on Dr. Morse's stomach and bowel formulas. Also use GI broom to get the bowels cleared out. In addition continue to do what you are doing in the first four steps.

  • Also include some dry brushing as well as some dry fasting. So, for dry brushing you will need a natural body dry brush. You will be brushing the skin before you take a shower. This will promote the proper flow of lymphatic waste. Include more astringent fruits to help promote kidney filtration. That is high water content fruits, such as citrus, pineapple, watermelon, and your berries. Other ways you can move lymph is with hot, and cold showers, heat therapy such as sitting in a sauna a few times per week. Or just some good old fashion manual labor that produces a good sweat.
  • Dry fasting is just when you go a period of time without consuming anything. Dry fasting is a great way to get kidneys filtering and it offers another much needed break for the digestive system, and metabolic processes. I suggest that you do your dry fasting at night while you sleep. You will want to stop eating/consuming, two hours before bed, until two hours after you wake up. The deeper you get into your detox the longer you will be able to do this. But for starters this is a great place to start! 
  • You may also want to include hot and cold showers too. Simply alternate the water when you take a shower from hot to cold, do this several times. This will stimulate the lymphatic system, further moving waste out of the body. Getting sweaty is also a great way to move lymph! I like to use a sauna. Do twenty minutes three times per day if you can. If you don't have access to a sauna than do other things to produce a sweat a few time a week. If you do not sweat well your may be under active thyroid. Promoting sweat along with all of these other steps will help to fix any thyroid imbalance you may have. Dr. Robert Morse - The Great Lymphatic System

    Most people don't understand or have never even considered The Great Lymphatic System, which is the sewer system for every cell in your body! If we look closely literally everything natural, and man made consumes, and eliminates some kind of byproduct or emissions. We eat food for fuel and we eliminate the waste. Animals do it, plants do it, and even cars have elimination called emissions. On the cellular level we also consume, and eliminate! Our cells, which make up everything in our entire body, need to consume fuel, and eliminate its waste.

This is where the lymphatic system comes in. The great lymphatic system is how our cells get rid of cell waste. The lymphatic system's job is to carry acid waste, and toxins out of the body through the kidneys in urination. When the lymphatic system can't do this due to improper kidney function, or filtration issues, the system becomes backed up like any other septic system would. This backup causes the lymph to become stagnated, keeping waste, and toxins in your body. When this happens you become damaged on the cellular level. Body systems, and organs begin to breakdown. In the medical world they call that disease, but I prefer symptoms of body breakdown.

Eliminative Systems

What will happen if you didn't flush your toilet? It will become over full, toxic, smelly, and eventually when you do try to flush it, it backs up and contaminates everything around it. Not good at all! This is exactly what is going on when your lymphatic system gets backed up with cellular waste. This is why the lymphatic system is an elimination system. Both the immune system and the lymphatic system work together offering protection for cells, and elimination of cellular waste. Our eliminative systems are of course lymphatic, immune, integumentary, intestinal, urinary and respiratory. All of these systems are responsible for elimination of various types of wastes.

The lymph system consists of the lymph fluid, lymph vessels, lymph nodes, spleen and the thymus gland. Lymph fluid is alkaline, translucent fluid that flows from cells to the venous blood supply via the lymph vessels. This fluid acts as the water in your toilet that carries the waste away to the sewer, or septic tank. The waste that is eliminated consists of everything from acid byproducts, chemical toxins, dead cells, salts, hormones, and pretty much anything unused, or unwanted by the body.

Lymph nodes are specifically your bodies septic tanks that are used by your lymph system to filter, neutralize, bond, and destroy pathogens, antigens, and also serve as a filter for lymph cells. Your lymph nodes become enlarged and swollen when they become over burdened with this toxic waste, parasites, acidosis, etc... because of improper elimination. Eliminating the causes of the waste is a great start. Also including the pathogen fighting, alkalizing, nutrient, and mineral rich foods such as raw fruits and vegetables will help your systems function properly. Your high water rich fruits will aid in kidney function, and filtering out of these wastes too.

detoxificationAs you can see the lymphatic system is the back bone to detoxification. When we get these acids and wastes out of the way our body can begin to heal. Changing your diet to healing foods is a must! Making sure you are filtering out your wastes is also extremely important. The best way to do this is to pee in a jar. You can do this in the morning, or any time. Let it sit for a while, and then come back to it. Are there sediments? Stringy mucous, and cloudy lymphatic waste in the jar? If so then you are filtering.

If your pee is clear then you are drinking to much water, and not filtering out the waste. You aren't looking so much for color, but the other stuff I just mentioned. You can also just take a look every time you pee. Is it cloudy? The water in the toilet will dilute it a bit so peeing in a jar regularly is the best way to really see what is coming out. You can also see which fruits you are eating is promoting the best filtration then just eat more of that for best results. There are also herbs and herbal formulas that can promote kidney filtration to help the process along.

If we want to be healthy we must effectively get the toxic waste out through these elimination systems. We also need to avoid things that create waste in our system, that way there is less work to be done. Our body will function much more smoothly when we prevent body break down in the first place. In any event there is no better time to start than now!

Vitamin Supplementation

   Humans are designed, and have always been designed to eat primarily whole foods, in their most natural state possible. Eating whole natural foods, with minimal to NO processing, ensures that we are putting the best possible foods in our bodies. The nutrient content of food is decreased when it is processed. And, since we live in a culture that over consumes processed foods, we do see nutrient deficiencies and mineral loss. In the developed world we see a rise in both obesity, and malnourishment. While in the underdeveloped world we see malnourishment along with excessive thinness. Both are because of lack of fresh foods in the diet, but the sad thing is in the developed countries we have more than enough fresh whole foods to eat, we just choose not to eat it as much as we should.

I don't think I have to tell you that fruits and vegetables are super healthy for our bodies, especially when all of the vitamins and minerals are kept in tact. This is why eating your produce raw is the best way to get all of the available vitamins, and minerals. And, of course there are your whole grains. beans and legumes.

But, what about supplementation?

Not one will argue that vitamins in their naturally balanced state are essential for better assimilation, synergistic action, and maximum biological effect. But, most of the vitamin supplements on the market being sold to the people are synthetic garbage, that our bodies don't assimilate very well. And, can leave you worse off then if you were before.

  • Supplementing too much causes acidosis. This will lead to  symptoms of body breakdown also known as "disease."
  • Vitamin C is also acidic, leaches out calcium, and lowers beneficial cholesterol. 
  • Never mega dose anything! Especially oil soluble vitamins.
  • When we supplement separated constituents can lead to imbalances in our body chemistry.
  • Synthetic/artificial vitamins accumulate in your tissues causing obstruction and toxicity.

The US. National Academy of Science, food and nutrition board, recommends that we get our recommended amounts of vitamins and minerals from our foods and rather than supplementation.
This is where a raw vegan fruitarian diet comes in handy! When we eat raw living foods we are consuming all of the available vitamins in their natural state. Your body will use what it needs and any absorption problems can be addressed through detoxification and regeneration of cells.


Digestion, Absorption, Utilization 

There is so much more to deficiencies than just adding more of something to your diet. Most vitamin, and mineral deficiencies are caused by mechanisms in your body not functioning properly, and not just lacking certain foods, or supplements. You may not be absorbing nutrients from your foods due to gastrointestinal issues, adrenal issues, endocrine issues, etc...

This is why fixing the problem, and eating whole raw foods is the key to getting everything you need, and not supplementation. Eating a diet primarily of fruits, berries, and melons, is the most effective way to fix the body's weaknesses, get acids out, and improve digestive function, which promotes better nutrient absorption. A diet of varied different fruits, berries, melons, even vegetables, greens, some seeds, and nuts is a great way to make sure you are getting everything you need. Also, avoiding nutrient robbing activities like smoking, alcohol, caffeine and using pharmaceutical drugs will ensure that you are getting everything you need, and your body systems function better.

Signs of Adrenal Gland Weakness

       These are common symptoms of Adrenal Gland Weakness. You may, or may not be, or have ever experienced all of these symptoms. You can begin to see how inflammation is developed in the body through diet and hormone imbalance (from glandular weakness) This inflammation leads to tissue failure and tissue death. This is why it is essential that our endocrine gland system functions properly and remain in balance. When the endocrine glands become hypo (under) or hyper (over,) active this creates many disease symptoms.

Our Adrenals are extremely important! This is because they produce neurotransmitters, which are essential for brain and nerve function. These include epinephrine (adrenaline), norepinephrine, and dopamine. All these affect our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system (the two divisions of the autonomic nervous system), turning nerve responses on or off. This affects almost all tissues in the body, including heart, vascular system, intestines, skin and kidneys.

Low blood pressure (systolic under 118) is always an indicator of adrenal weakness, and at least %50 of high blood pressure cases reflect adrenal (medulla) weakness as well. A healthy blood pressure is 120-130 systolic (top number) and 60-70 diastolic (bottom number).

The second important part about the adrenal glands is in the cortex (outer portion) that produces cortical-type steroids or hormones. These hormones include corticoids (cortisol and cortisone for carbohydrate utilization); aldosterone (regulating our electrolytes, sodium and potassium.; estradiol (an estrogen); and progestins (including progesterone).

Many of these steroids act as anti-inflammatory compounds, which are vital to combating anti-inflammatory processes within the body. These steroids affect muscle, nerve, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular tissues.

Cortisol aids in the conversion of fat and protein to glucose. Also cortisol is one of the adrenal glands (glucocorticoid) steroids that mediates inflammation. Catabolic breakdown processes in the body generally cause acidosis, hense inflammation in your body especially the GI tract. This damage stimulates the adrenal glands to increase cortisol production, which can cause further inflammation.

The Cortisol is what effects the blood pressure. It affects the muscles, heart, and it can also lower the TSH further affecting your thyroid hormone production. Our thyroid is responsible for our calcium utilization. Caffeine soda, and tea (the tea leaf kind with caffeine) enhances the production of excessive cortisol. Because of that cortisol also affects the aging process, promotes osteoporosis, etc..

These problems especially inflammation which in another word is really just acidosis is caused by a lifetime or long period of time of consuming acidosis promoting foods mentioned above. Acidosis and inflammation is essentially the same thing!

Remember your body can eliminate the toxins, acid and reduce or eliminate the inflammation but you have to allow it too. You have to do the things necessary to help your body and buckle up for the ride. In my opinion using medications, having surgery or procedures WILL NOT GET TO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM! ACIDOSIS AND INFLAMMATION WILL REMAIN AND YOU WILL CONTINUE DOWN A ROAD OF MORE ILLNESS NOT LESS.

Doctors don’t know what I am telling you and what I have learned from Dr. Morse. This is not in the realm of medicine, which only treats symptoms, but not the cause of the symptoms. This information is in the realm of the science of how our bodies works and what our symptoms tell us. Listen to your body and read your symptoms.

How I make it, and the awesome benefits! 


   Diet is a big part of detoxification and our overall healing journey, but another important part of that is our use of herbs. When I began to watch Dr. Morse and learn from him, It became apparent to me that herbs, in addition to a raw vegan fruitarian diet was a must to any good healing program. So after watching some videos and reading The Detox Miracle Source book by Dr. Morse I decided that his Heal All Tea was a great place for me to start with the herbs. I didn't want to start with stronger herbal formulas. I am taking it slow and don't want to buy a bunch of herbs that I don't know what to do with. I have always been a tea drinker, more specifically green tea. But, when I began this journey towards optimal health last October green tea with honey or agave sweeter was one of the foods that I gave up. So, my Heal All Tea has replaced my usual tea consumption.


Heal All Tea is a combination of eight different powerful herbs. It is called tea, but it does not contain tea leaves. Heal All Tea is actually an herbal tea, containing only herbs. It is called Heal All because of the beautiful combination of herbs specifically selected to target key areas that must be worked on in any type of natural healing journey.

I have to be honest! When I first made this tea I didn't like the taste. It is an interesting and strong taste. I was a little discouraged. I really wanted it to taste awesome, so that I could consume it daily and experience the benefits. I wondered how I was going to drink the recommended 4 cups daily, but I knew I could add additional herbs to dress it up a bit. So, I reached out for suggestions in the Dr Morse Detox Support: for women only group on Facebook. A couple ladies there suggested cinnamon stick, and licorice root.

I felt that this was great advice because cinnamon is also beneficial to our health, and licorice root is the first herb that I started with. In my video Why Raw Vegan Fruitarian? Thyroid Nodules, Low TSH, Hypothyroid I discuss why I am consuming licorice root and what benefits I am looking to obtain with that. I also decided to add lemon juice to my Heal All Tea because of the astringent qualities to aid my body in this cleansing journey. The lemon also adds a nice tangy and tarty goodness to my tea! So, what are the benefits of Heal All Tea?

I will be using The Detox Miracle Source Book as a reference to explain the benefits of this product. When I looked up these herbs I could see exactly why Dr. Morse chose these to be in the Heal All Tea. These herbs are known for their astringent/cleansing qualities, as well as detoxification, anti parasitic, system and cell strengtheners such as the lymphatic system, the healing of tissues (even tooth enamel), lymphatic movement of waste, and the promotion of kidney filtration which is a must.

There are of course many other benefits of Heal All Tea herbs, but I will list some of the main ones. If you want more information I suggest that you get The Detox Miracle Source Book by Robert Morse. You can find the information about these herbs and more in MODULE 8.2. The herbs we see being used in this proprietary blend is as follows, White Oak Bark. Plantain Leaf, Black Walnut Hull, Chaparral Herb, Burdock Root, Marshmallow Root, Comfrey Root, and Comfrey Leaf.

Like I said there are so many more benefits not listed here but they are outlined in Dr. Morse's book. I also like to add the licorice root as well as cinnamon so I will list some of the benefits of doing that as well.

Licorice Root is a powerful herb for the Adrenal glands. Also licorice is a powerful endocrine glandular herb, in other words thyroid health.The benefits to the Adrenal glands as well as endocrine gland system is the main reason why I am taking it daily. Licorice is also anti-inflammatory as well as anti-fungal and antibacterial. Licorice balanced blood sugar, promotes healing, especially of the GI tract, licorice is a great cleanser and detoxifier. It is also great candida issues, respiratory infections, removes mucous, and heals hemorrhoids.

Like I said above by itself the combination of herbs that is in the Heal All Tea just doesn't taste that great in my opinion, but with my recipe I am enjoying it very well. I feel great drinking it along with my raw vegan fruitarian diet and I will be getting some more.

My Recipe!

Step 1. Fill a mason jar full of water (that's about 3 1/2 cups), and place it in a 2 quart sauce pan and bring to a boil. I use a mason jar to measure my water because I like to have at least a mason jar full of the tea in my fridge daily.










Step 2. Add 1 heaping tsp of Heal All herbs, 1 tsp of licorice root,  and 1 cinnamon stick into the boiling water. Let simmer for 7 minutes and turn off the heat.

Step 3. Let steep until it cools down a little bit.

Step 4. Now with a strainer, strain the solution back into your jar.

Step 5. Juice 1 nice size lemon or 2 small lemons. I like to use a hang juicer to squeeze the juice out. You could also use a juicer and juice the cleaned skin as well for an even more powerful astringent drink. After you add your lemon juice and notice that some of the water has evaporated just add more water to fill the jar.


As you can see it gets cloudy with the lemon juice added. You can drink this hot or cold. I store it in the fridge and heat it up if I want a hot drink. I usually drink it cold all day, but I like it hot in the morning, especially during the winter.

What about Protein? | Fruitarian Protein Myth

Debunking the myth that you can't get enough protein on a raw vegan fruitarian diet. 

   This is the most common question and usually the first one asked. Since I have been implementing a raw vegan fruitarian diet, I have been getting it all the time. In fact no one cared about my protein intake until I went vegan.

But, what about protein?

People/society are so conditioned to think that the only protein a human can get is from meat, eggs or dairy. Well I am writing this to debunk that. And, to show you that a raw vegan fruitarian diet can, and does provide more than enough quality protein for optimal health.

In fact plant based protein is superior for our bodies than any other source. Fruit based protein is an easily digestible protein in the form of amino acids and is easily used by our bodies. It is much simpler for our bodies to break down, because it contains basic amino acids. Whereas meat contains a second hand protein and must still be broken down by the body. In other words it must be broken down back into amino acids to be utilized.

When we eat fruits, berries, melons and veggies we get protein in the form of amino acids, and our body builds protein structures out of that. But, when we eat meat which is already structured proteins (another animals muscles), our body must break it down back into amino acids just so our bodies can use them.

This extra process creates acid wastes, and toxic build up which promote symptoms of body break down, which we call disease. Not to mention meat is loaded with artery clogging animal fats and cholesterol! An animal based diet has no fiber as well and this only adds to the problems! A raw vegan fruitarian diet is a naturally low fat, high fiber, high carbohydrate diet that promotes health, life and vitality!

Something that I have always said "If we want to live we need to eat living foods. Likewise eating dead foods will promote disease and death." I will be doing more posts on this topic. For now back to how much protein we can get from fruit alone. I have also included the calorie value as well as fat content.

These figures are based on a 2,000 calorie diet. Obviously the more active you are the more calories from fruit you will want to consume. And if you are not a very active person or not a very tall person you would be fine to consume less. For myself I try to keep my calorie intake between 1,500 - 2,000 although I would eat more if I was more active.

So, the protein, calories, and fat in some of the fruits that many fruitarians may be eating at this time in the fall and winter is as follows. Keep in mind this is an example, but all fruit is similar in protein, calories and fat content.

Here's the numbers...

4 medium bananas = 5.16 grams of protein, 420 calories, and about 1.56 grams of fat
5 medium oranges = 6.15 grams of protein, 310 calories, and about  .80 grams of fat
5 tangerines = 2.85 grams of protein, 185 calories, and 1.1 grams of fat
5 apple/Japanese persimmons = 4.85 grams of protein, 590 calories, and 1.60 grams of fat
5 roma tomatoes = 4 grams of protein, 175 calories, and 5 grams of fat
1 large avocado = 4.02 grams of protein, 322 calories, and 29.47 grams of fat

When we add it up we get an healthy 27.03 grams of protein! And an optimal 2,002 calories, as well as about 39.53 grams of fat. If you think that is still a low intake of protein, and fat, think again. The average American consumes way to much protein and fats! This leads to most of the health problems that we see today like heart disease, diabetes and some cancers. Dr. Morse and many others report an increase in overall pain when proteins go much higher than 20-30 grams. High protein diets are acidic diets. And human beings aren't high protein creatures like carnivores.

If a fruitarian wants to cut the fat out a little they just simply eat less avocados. And if they want a little extra protein they just eat more fruit, or add a handful of nuts or seeds. Just 1/4th cup of raw sunflower seeds adds an addition 7 grams of protein. And a 1/4th cup of raw almonds give 6 grams. Many fruitarians eat seeds and nuts as needed or desired.

You also get a lot of fiber as a fruitarian which is essential to proper elimination, and the prevention of cancer, especially colorectal cancer which is the second leading cause of death in the United States! Based on the example above you would get about 80 grams of fiber or more per day as a fruitarian. Say good buy to constipation and irregularity issues! Doesn't that sound nice?

A fruitarian eats similar to the example above on a daily basis and as you can see there is no lack of protein, calories or fat! Also eating this way is super clean and full of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and water! Everything we need for optimal health. Not to mention fruit is naturally detoxifying and as already mentioned, loaded with beneficial fiber for proper elimination. It’s the perfect food for humans and there is no cooking or preparation (aside from maybe cutting it up, peeling it or blending it) required.

On a daily basis as a fruitarian my diet may vary a little bit from above. In fact a fruitarian diet varies from day to day, season to season, but it's still fruit for me daily. Some days I will include mangoes, and less oranges, or more bananas and less persimmons, etc.. I eat in season and what I currently have available to me at the time. Each season supplying us with exactly the type of foods we need.

Some days I may include some cooked sweet potatoes just because I like them and they do not cause me any adverse health issues. I may even have some veggies or greens some days if I want to. A fruitarians primary food is fruit but that doesn't mean that we aren't including some seeds, nuts, raw greens or veggies. The reason why my goal is 100% fruit is because I am detoxing. Veggies, greens, nuts and seeds will slow down a detox and may prevent the healing that you are looking for or at least slow it down.

Also as a quick tip, eating a meal of cooked sweet potatoes in addition to your fruit, can get you out of an elimination issue and back on track. Also sweet potatoes (seasoned with sage not salt) is a great way to curb a cooked food craving. They say boiling or steaming is best if you are going to cook a vegetable like sweet potatoes. I prefer the taste better when I bake it, but I'm not eating them on a daily basis.

I’m loving the simplicity! 

I love how simple this diet is and how easy it is for me to stick to it. Personally this is what I have been waiting for my whole life. I am feeling better that I have in a long time. And if I forget how great I am feeling I can just eat some cooked food and my digestive issues, acid, fatigue come right back and I feel weighed down again. When I eat fruit, I feel light and energized! I know my food is getting digested properly and elimination is better too. I look forward to a long healthy life on this fruitarian diet and you can too.

Give it a try for a day, or three days, or a week and you will see what I mean! 

I hope this article helped you to see that YES! There is plenty of protein in the form of amino acids in fruit for a fruitarian diet and there is no need to worry that you aren't getting enough on this type of diet. Even if you are including some vegetables, because there's protein in vegetables too. As you can see when we make fruit our primary food (which is intended by God) then we get what we need and our bodies thank us for it with optimal health.

Chances are you know someone who has been diagnosed with diabetes. You may be one of them. Diabetes is affecting so many people and not just adults but children as well. This is a shame and not something anyone should have to deal with!

If you go to the doctor they will tell you "there is no cure" and "diet has nothing to do with why you have this illness" but they are wrong. Curing diabetes like any other illness is as simple as eliminating the CAUSE of the problem. And according to Dr. Morse it is easy to do. When it comes to a cure, all you have to do is simply do what you should have been doing all along. Also herbs are used as a powerful tool for rebuilding the bodies mechanisms that have failed you do to your lifestyle choices.

Allopathic medicine or what we know as "traditional medicine" does not seek to eliminate the cause but to treat the symptoms or disease only. This approach only guarantees that you remain sick and are dependent on pharmaceutical companies for the rest of your life! Good for the manufacturers of drugs but not for you the patient. Going the way of medicine is always better for big business than it is for the individual! Treating diseases rather the cause of disease is never the answer!

So what causes diabetes? For a simply answer I would say "your diet and lifestyle choices." More specifically a diet high in animal fats and proteins. Diabetes is not caused by to much sugar consumption as stated by the American Diabetes Association who gets much of their funding from the dairy and meat industries. See What The Health Documentary. The type of foods that you choose to consume, and the products that you choose to put on your skin have everything to do with why you are suffering. When we especially eat the wrong foods our bodies become weak and our mechanisms fail like our adrenal system, lymphatic systems, pancreas, etc... This causes sugar metabolism problems, or our pancreas to reduce the amount of insulin that is being produced.

A diet high in meat, and animal fats will actually cause a rise in blood sugar levels. While consuming whole fruits containing fructose sugars will actually cause a stabilizing effect. Our bodies are designed for fructose sugars from whole fruit sources. A plant based preferably raw diet is the best, proven way to eliminate illness and the need for pharmaceutical products. Fructose does not require insulin to metabolize, and is easily digested therefore it's a perfect food for diabetics, In fact fruit is a super food for everyone!

Grains, flours as well as dairy products cause spikes in blood sugar and do not contain the appropriate sugars (fructose) that is proper for a human being. Dairy products as well as animal fats and proteins have been linked to diabetes as well as cancer. If you look around at everyone you know with diabetes and or cancer you will see that dairy, animal fats and meat are their primary food source. Even if a person doesn't consume meat, dairy is just as damaging on its own. There in lies the problem and it is easily fixed by choosing to eat plant based. Start now! Eat raw primarily fruits and veggies for a week and feel the difference!

Our societies "need" for cooking food has also played an important role in the development of disease like diabetes. Cooking foods, especially oils, and meats, create carcinogens, cancer causing substances. A raw diet is most powerful, but some minimally cooked veggies will be fine when your not trying to hard detox. Never consume fruits cooked, but only juiced or whole. Veggies can be lightly steamed or boiled. Be careful not to cook veggies to much because this destroys the life and vital nutrients you need to heal. Veggies like spinach and kale are best used raw and can be blended for best results. Make yourself a nice spinach salad or green drink. And, like I will state below pay attention to food combining. Some fruits and veggies should not be combined.

THE PROTOCOL:


  • Consume a 95-100% primarily fruits based diet! Focus on low sugar fruits, and pay attention to how fruits especially high sugar fruits affect your blood sugar. Yes you can consume a primarily fruit based diet if you have been diagnosed with diabetes. Focus on fruits for health and detox!
  
  • Also consume raw veggies such as spinach, kale and especially herbs like garlic. Have a green salad with lemon juice on top in the evenings to balance everything out. Remember to keep it raw or lightly steamed for best benefits. Raw is best!


  • Absolutely NO OTHER SUGAR SOURCES outside of fruit! Avoiding the complex sugars is your answer! Don't blame fruits, berries and melons they are not and have never been your problem. Fruits contain fructose type sugars and do not require insulin to metabolize.

  • Watch out for hidden sugars that may spike your blood sugar. Avoid grains, beans and legumes. If you continue to use these foods use sparingly. These foods contain high levels of sugar from glucose, and are very hard to digest. This is a bad deal for someone trying to heal from a type two situation.
  • Use your blender to make consumable juices with fruits, veggies and herbs. Put your juicer, Vitamix and or blender to good use. Juicing is an excellent way to get your raw fruits and veggies in everyday.


  • Avocado and coconut can be a healthy plant based fat source but use sparingly. I would avoid oils but if you must use oil use grape seed oil and keep it raw. Cooking foods and especially oils creates carcinogens.


  • Watch your blood sugar carefully and adjust your fruit intake accordingly. Balance everything out by consuming veggies. Add some cooked veggies occasionally when you need to create some needed balance.
  • Levels can drop fast so grazing on fruits can keep it stable. If your sugar spikes to high, like stated before use vegetables to create balance. Remember fruit sugar is fructose and is not required by insulin.


  • If a particular fruit causes your sugar to get to high eliminate that fruit until your blood sugar can be stabilized. Listen to your body and pay attention to what it needs!


  • Remember your goal is to clean and regenerate your pancreas and adrenal glands, NOT to treat diabetes! Treat the cause not the symptoms. This is where the herbal formulas will come into play. More on that below.


  • Proteins, especially meat, will raise your blood sugars. Meat is not a balanced food, as it consists of mostly protein. Therefore your body will break down fat and convert this to glucose for balance. The responding glucose will then rise your blood glucose levels.

  • Other food and things you MUST AVOID are caffeinated drinks like coffee, soda, tea, energy drinks, etc…ABSOLUTELY no animal products such as dairy and meat! As stated before high protein animal product based diets are the cause of acidosis in the body. Likewise the cause of all of the illnesses we see today. Especially diabetes, cancer and heart disease.


  • Keep it simple EAT THE FOODS THAT WERE DESIGNED FOR YOUR BODY, fruits, berries, melons, vegetable, seeds and nuts. High protein plant sources must be used sparingly if at all. During a detox you must avoid seeds and nuts.


  • Consume lots of whole lemons and lemon juice daily to aid the pancreatic juices to proper digestion. Start your day every morning with fresh squeezed lemon or whole lemon juice hot or cold.


  • Pay attention to food combining. Some fruits and veggies should not be eaten together. Mono eating is the best. That is one type of fruit at a time. See Chart...


  • Herbal formulas for pancreatic strengthening, detox and regeneration and Heal All Tea By Dr. Robert Morse. Also can include licorice root for pancreatic health. You will need to use these until your condition is cured.   • Also just as important as what you eat is what you put on your skin. Throw away all your skin care products that are loaded with harmful chemicals like aluminum, titanium dioxide and much worse! You can go to the health food store and buy all natural skin care or you can just use coconut oil and or almond oil. You also may want to purchase a natural shampoo and conditioner. Keep it simple!

There is so much more that you need to know to help yourself and Robert Morse N.D. is just the man. His YouTube videos are an invaluable source for this information. Watch carefully and take notes!


Below is a fruit guide that you can use to carefully select what fruits you will be eating and when. Make sure that you do not consume only high sugar fruits but to mix it up between low, medium and high. You can consume your high sugar fruits in the morning for an energy booster but make sure to check your sugar levels. If your sugar spikes to high then lay off that particular fruit in favor of low sugar fruits. When your body heals your sugars will become more stable and then you can add that high sugar fruit back in your diet and more frequently.



LOW SUGAR FRUITS:


Lime  
lemon (You can add a slice to your water or squeeze them on food to add their nutrients and tartness.)
Rhubarb  
Apricots   
Cranberries (You can blend them with a higher sugar fruit to take away from the tartness.)
Guavas
Raspberries (You can get them fresh in summer or find them frozen year-round.)
Kiwifruit (They have a mild flavor but add lovely color to a fruit salad. Also, you can eat the skin.)
Blackberries
Strawberries (With a little more sugar than raspberries)
Figs
Grapefruit
Cantaloupes (They are the lowest in sugar of the melons.)
Tangerines (They have less sugar than oranges and are easy to section for fruit salads.)


 MEDIUM SUGAR FRUITS:


Nectarines  
Papaya (They are lower in sugar than the other tropical fruits.)
Oranges (These are great to pack along for lunches and snacks.)
Honeydew
Cherries  
Peaches  
Blueberries (They are higher in sugar than other berries but packed with nutrients.)
Grapes  


HIGHEST SUGAR FRUITS:


Pineapple (As a tropical fruit, it is higher in sugar.)
Pears  
Bananas
Watermelon
Apples (They are easy to take along for meals and snacks, but higher in sugar than tangerines or oranges.)
Pomegranates
Mangoes
