I first watched Nicole on of the authors on a television show that my husband and I like to watch called Alone, she didn't win but did awesome as a survivalist. I could see that she knew what she was doing and her knowledge of edible wild plants was extensive. So naturally when I saw that she wrote a book about foraging and herbal remedies I had to get it! And it is a GOOD ONE! I am replacing my old worn out herb book for this one. I am learning a lot and will be better prepared for those times when I am out in the woods or in a survival situation.

If you are like me you love to go out and get what I am calling "forest therapy" and just getting out there in nature. I love the fresh air, nature sounds and plants everywhere. Another thing I love is to observe the plants around me and figure out which ones can be used as emergency food, or first aid just in case it is needed. I am also interested in picking whiled foods to eat and learning about what natural foods and herbs are growing near where I live. I know I am not the only one lol! Nature is beautiful and useful!

In this book you'll find 800+ beneficial plants and remedies in "The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies". It includes recipes of tinctures, teas, decoctions, essential oils, syrups, salves, poultices, infusions and many other natural remedies that our grandparents used for centuries. What's also special about this book is that it has between 2 and 4 high definition, color pictures for each plant and detailed identification guidelines to make sure you've got the right plant.

If that is something that you would like to do and learn about then this book is great for you too. Like I said I got it to replace some of my old herb books and to enhance my survival knowledge as well. Maybe you have seen some of my other herb posts before, this is something that I just can't seem to get away from because I love nature and plants! This book is great for the beginner and anyone who just wants to increase their understanding of herbs and how to use them.

Just click the link above and see if this is something that you may want to add to your library. Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post and for your support :) God bless you and your family! I really mean that... From Joanne Utke
